The key to a great or a series of great fireworks photographs is location. You want a location that has an outstanding vantage point view of the piece of sky where the most action will take place. This means you may need to take a position on a bridge, on top of a building or on a hill away from the crowds that come to see the show. This is not going to be easy to find so start early. It is not out of line to “scope out” your location days in advance and arrive hours in advance to secure that spot as yours.

Experience is going to be one of your best teachers as to not only the right location but how to set your camera focus and shutter speeds and how to position the view from the secured location so you can capture the rocket at the moment of explosion. So find ways to do some practice shoots at other fireworks displays before you set out to do the “keeper” shot. Many times minor league baseball clubs have fireworks shows and they would happily let you take photographs of the show in exchange for a few free shots. Here you can experiment with your experiment and get your bearings before setting up for a larger show.

Once the show gets underway, anticipate the explosion that you want to capture. Don’t snap the first five minutes of the show but use that time to confirm that you have the right sky location scouted. The best times to capture the shot are right before the explosion which you can time by the sound of the rocket going up and the expected time before eruption.

I am an architect like to learning about historical building, I like study composition for facade and detail from old building. My literatures for learn that always from Europe. These countries have much historical building, because this is an old country with old culture. Materi yang di lombakan adalah pembuatan desain untuk Kamar Mandi (batas terakhir 31 Juni 2007) dan Dapur (batas terakhir 31 Juli 2007). Berbahagialah anda jika anda tidak buta warna. Ada beberapa macam buta warna. Ada buta warna sebagian (parsial) dan buta warna keseluruhan (Total). Banyak di antara kita yang tidak menyadari bahwa dirinya buta warna. Sebagian orang mengetahuinya di saat tes kesehatan untuk masuk sekolah, melamar kerja, maupun terpaksa menjalani tes buta warna sesuai dengan anjuran dokter. Jika anda ingin mendalami dunia yang berhubungan dengan warna, design, pengecatan (paint), seni lukis, print and printing, serta bidang lain yang selalu membutuhkan explorasi warna dalam penyajiannya, sebaiknya anda review kembali.

Dalam bidang pengecatan kemampuan untuk membedakan warna adalah mutlak diperlukan. Anda bisa membayangkan jika sebuah design dibuat oleh seseorang yang tidak bisa membedakan warna dengan baik. Tentunya hal ini akan membuat perbedaan presepsi terhadap suatu desain. Bagi orang yang mengalami buta warna sebagian terkadang sulit memahami dan menerima bahwa dirinya buta warna. Mereka sering tidak bisa membedakan warna coklat yang sudah bercampur dengan warna lain dengan merah. Ada juga yang sulit membedakan warna hijau dengan biru. Terlebih untuk warna-warna sinar yang tipis. Karena perbedaan yang tipis dan sedikit inilah yang akhirnya menyebabkan seseorang yang memiliki buta warna tidak dapat menerima bahwa dirinya buta warna. Walaupun vonis dokter sudah mengatakan bahwa dirinya buta warna. Tidak perlu berkecil hati. Walau buta warna masih banyak pekerjaan lain yang berhubungan dengan desain yang tidak terlalu membutuhkan warna, misalnya: seni patung, ukiran, bentuk dan lainya yang tidak terlalu membutuhkan kemampuan membedakan warna.

Cat (paint) dalam pencampuran warna (ting-ting Color) sangat dibutuhkan kemampuan untuk membedakan warna. Jika anda seorang sprayer kemampuan tersebut akan sangat dominan di sini. Sebab dalam teknik semprot dengan spraygun, tebal tipis (thickness) hasil pengecatan akan membuat perbedaan yang signifikan. Apalagi jika anda seorang tukang oplos (mixing paint man) atau seorang paint tester. Sehari-hari anda harus melakukan persamaan warna (maching color). Sangat riskan jika anda menderita buta warna.

Oleh karena itu periksalah mata anda ke dokter. Di tekankan di sini bahwa buta warna adalah bukan minus/silidris (tidak bisa melihat jauh) ataupun plus (tidak dapat melihat dekat). Dan buta warna tidak bisa disembuhkan (menurut dokter saya). Buta warna adalah karunia yang kita dapatkan dari lahir dan bukan penyakit keturunan. Resin: salah satu komponen dasar pembuatan cat (minyak) yang berfungsi untuk mengikat pigmen yang membentuk lapisan tipis kontinyu untuk menghasilkan kekerasan, kilap,lekat dan masih banyak lagi fungsinya. Resin ada yang berasal dari alam (berupa getah-getahan dari tumbuhan sebagai contoh pohon damar) dan dewasa ini banyak resin sintetis yang dibuat secara kimia dan di buat dengan bahan minyak bumi mauun minyak nabati.

Pigment: adalah bahan serbu organik atau anorganik yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan warna dan sering sebagai kekuatan yang tersembunyi, bahan ini tidak dapat larut dalam air ataupun pelarut.

Pelarut/Thinner: cairan transparant yang digunakan untuk melarutkan resin untuk pencampuran dan mendapatkan kekentalan (viscosity) yang sesuai untuk proses pengecatan. Pelarut ini biasa disebut sebagai thiner dan dibuat dari bahan minyak bumi. Namun banyak juga cat-cat tradisional dan juga cat modern yang menggunakan ar sebagai bahan pelarutnya.

Aditif: berfungsi sebagai bahan pelengkap yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan properti dari cat dalam hal kekuatan, ketahanan dan aplikasi saat melakukan pengecatan.

Dalam pengecatan menggunakan teknik spray gun, beberapa hal yang harus dipahami adalah mimilih Spraygun yang sesuai dengan benda yang akan kita cat. Berikut ini beberapa tips yang dikumpulkan dari berbagai sumber yang menjadi bahan pertimbangan dalam memilih spraygun.Yaitu:

1. Ukuran dari benda kerja.

Pilihlah sesuai dengan yang benda-benda kecil, untuk mainan, part-part yang kecil
Untuk mesium yang besar seperti gedung, mobil, dinding-ding lebar.

2. Besarnya area yang akan dicat. Sesuaikan dengan feed-nya (jenis spraygun dalam hal posisi tempat cat)

Untuk part kecil dan frekuensi pergantian catnya tinggi gunakah Gravity feed. (G type)
Untuk part yang kecil hingga medium dalam pergantian catnya Kamu dapat menggunakan type Suction feed (S type)
Untuk part besar dan area yang luas dan menggunakan system conveyor, Kamu sebaiknya menggunakan Pressure Feed (P type) yang dipadu dengan pompa bertekanan deserta tankinya.

3. Kekentalan cat atau viskositas cat yang akan digunakan. Hal ini harus dipertimbangkan karena mempengaruhi pemilihan nozzle spraygun. Jangan sampai nozzle terlalu besar dan juga tidak disarankan terlalu kecil. Kekentalan cat dapat dilihat dan diukur menggunakan viskometer Ford cup #4, atau NK-2.

Kimia Polimer: Rancangan polimer untuk cat berupa komposit dengan persyaratn tinggi untuk mencapai tinggi untuk mencapai berbagai fungsi, sebagai aplikasi utama dari kimia polimer. Kimia koloid: Cat didefinisikan sebagai tebarankoloid dari pigmen dalam sarana (resin dan pelarut). Dengan demikian properti cat sangat tergantung pada ukuran partikel dan permukaan pigmen.

Teknologi Penebaran Pigment: Tebaran pigment adalah proses untuk membasahi dan melepas partikel utama pigmen dan menebarkannya ke dalam sarana secara merata. Untuk menghindari koagulasi dan menjaga agar kondisi tetap stabil, yang sangat penting adalah kontrol yang didasarkan atas kimia koloid dan kimia antar permukaan. Berbagai properti cat, seperti fluiditas, kehalusan, kilap, kekuatan menyembunyikan dan stabilitas penyimpanan sangat dipengaruhi oleh penebaran pigmen ini.

Cat pada umumnya memberikan dampaknya hanya setelah mengalami perubahan dari kondisi cair menjadi lapisan tipis dan padat melalui proses pengeringan/pengerasan.

Komposisi cat secara umum mencakup beberapa bahan di bawah ini.

Resin: salah satu komponen dasar pembuatan cat (minyak) yang berfungsi untuk mengikat pigmen yang membentuk lapisan tipis kontinyu untuk menghasilkan kekerasan, kilap,lekat dan masih banyak lagi fungsinya. Resin ada yang berasal dari alam (berupa getah-getahan dari tumbuhan sebagai contoh pohon damar) dan dewasa ini banyak resin sintetis yang dibuat secara kimia dan di buat dengan bahan minyak bumi mauun minyak nabati.

Pigmen: adalah bahan serbu organik atau anorganik yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan warna dan sering sebagai kekuatan yang tersembunyi, bahan ini tidak dapat larut dalam air ataupun pelarut.

Pelarut: cairan transparant yang digunakan untuk melarutkan resin untuk pencampuran dan mendapatkan kekentalan (viscosity) yang sesuai untuk proses pengecatan. Pelarut ini biasa disebut sebagai thiner dan dibuat dari bahan minyak bumi. Namun banyak juga cat-cat tradisional dan juga cat modern yang menggunakan ar sebagai bahan pelarutnya.
